My friend purchased a ringtone and synced it with iTunes, but can't figure out how to make it a ringtone on his iPhone. It doesn't show up in the sound section to choose it as a ringtone. Please help to fix this.
Purchased from where??? (obviously not iTunes Store.)
IF it's an mp3 ringtone (and not copy protected), then try changing the extension to .m4r ... then drag it back into iTunes and it should be automatically placed in a "ringtones" folder that shows up in the sidebar.
