Imac + X = Imac w/ superdrive
What is x??
X is G4. I really dont think Apple isnt gonna put a superdrive into the imac until it has a G4 processor. Why? Because without the G4, the mpeg 2 encoding process would be rediculously long. The much shortened and very easy to deal with encoding times on power macs are courtesy of idvd code written for altivec.
So im just saying that everyone running around saying that there will be imacs with G3's and superdrives
should reconsider their predictions.
