I dont know about many of you here, but I read this book around age 11, and it left a lasting effect on me. It was a book that brought me to more than a few tears, and insnared me in its original and facinating world. A "childrens" book that tackled subjects such as death, loss, evil, love, and the foundation of who and what we are. It was a book (and a trilogy) that has stuck with me to this day. And I would like to give a cheer for it making its way to the big screen.
