The Magic Mouse Problem (Stores and Delivering)
Ok wow, the Magic Mouse (and Mighty Mouse for that matter, but I heard that one sucks) is never at ANY store unless you camp out in front of the store the night the delivery truck comes and rush into the store like Walmart on Black Friday.
\
Then, when you go to order online, it takes like 7- 10 (Now 5- 7 but I ordered earlier) business days.

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, there are some odd problems of online supply. Mine arrived months after I'd placed the order.
It is worth waiting like nothing else, trust me.
Buy a MX Revolution and save yourself that crappy tracking trouble.
Better yet, don't listen to Ireland and save yourself the FUD.
It is easier to download, install and configure Better Touch Tool for the Magic Mouse than it is to install and configure Logitech drivers. And unlike Logitech, it's not a system extension, so there's no risk of it conflicting with other parts of your system.
With Better Touch Tool, you can:
1) Configure dozens of different multi-touch gestures to perform whatever you want them to do, both globally, as well as tweaked for individual applications to support the needs of the application. It's quite easy to turn the Magic Mouse into an equivalent of a 10-button mouse, for instance.
If you want, you can keep it simple, and just add three finger click to bring up Exposé, making it a simple 3-button mouse. Or you can turn your Magic Mouse into a 15-button plus 360º inertial scrolling monster (the current version of BTT supports 34 different gestures).
(Is it possible, even with a 3rd party solution, to configure the MX Revolution with inertial scrolling? Hmm...)
2) Set tracking to 500% of the max allowed in the Apple mouse preference pane. This is plenty of speed for that triple 29" Cinema Display setup you're pretending to have.
3) Also, you get all that multi-touch configuration goodness for your laptop touch pad as an added bonus!
And before Ireland says "what a hassle, to install a third party 'hack'", ask him how well he's done without installing the Logitech drivers. Wait a minute... he did install them? Then how on Earth is installing BTT any more of a "hassle"?
The final conclusion is that you should get a Magic Mouse, unless you're a 3D gamer. Or if your hand and arm muscles have atrophied by resting on an "ergonomic" mouse for too long, so you're unable to hold your arms up any more like normal people can.
