Skype Issue

Installed Skype on my mac book pro (OS x 10.6) few days back and it was working alright. It still works ok but on OS startup getting a popup message "The document ?Skype? could not be opened because it is damaged or incomplete." When I click on the only option "OK" it starts up "Automator". Any one has any idea about this issue? Could not get much info on Google. Any help would be appreciated.
