UK iPad Prices

Using as scientific a method as possible I have estimated the UK iPad prices for you.



I took 13 Apple products (iPods, Laptops and Desktops).

I took the USA prices and the UK prices (minus the included VAT sales tax).

I calculated the average currency conversion rate that Apple use across the 13 products.

For info the range was from 1.44 dollars to the pound to 1.56 dollars to the pound.

The average rate came out at 1.5 dollars to the pound.



I then converted the US iPad prices to pounds using the 1.5 rate and then added the VAT sales tax.



Here are the estimated UK iPad prices :-



iPad 16GB WiFi - £390

iPad 16GB WiFi+3G - £491



iPad 32GB WiFi - £468

iPad 32GB WiFi+3G - £570



iPad 64GB WiFi - £546

iPad 64GB WiFi+3G - £648



Just thought you might like the ball park figures.

    The "€" 16GB model needs to be priced €399. I believe it will be.



    The 16GB UK model will be £359.

    I'd say £349, £449 and £549 for models without 3G like the pricing here:

    impressive research and whilst sanity says you are right, you have made one big oversight.



    we are in rip off britain where somehting costing $390 will be marked up at £385
