samba | finder needs up to 40 seconds to display content of a share
I have a little issue with the finder in context with samba shares.
I'm running a freeBSD samba server on my home network. each time I'm mounting the share on my Mac (Snow Leopard) and open up a folder with many, for example, pictures finder take up to 40 seconds to display what's inside.
I guess thats a samba config problem. becouse I don't have this problem when I'm export the same with AFP.
I've allready tried to set TCP_NODELAY to 0 on both mashines, and also in the smb.conf. but nothing improved this problem.
are there any other options which I could configure to get rid of that?
