Airport wireless card for a '06 MacPro question

I have an Intel MacPro bought in Sept of '06 that I need to connect to the internet wirelessly. I have an "N" wireless router so I'd like to have a card that is "N" capable. Do I need a special Airport Extreme card or can I use the currently available one?

Thanks for any input.

Some of them can with a software update --it depends upon the model--you will have to check with Apple--if not you can buy an N card and install it --or have it installed---I've done it with a

Macbook--it is a bit of a pain, but it can be done--Mac Fixit and others sell N cards---for laptops
