30" Cinema Display Problem

I just purchased a 30" display, used.



I am using a MacBook (aluminum) purchased last year, and I believe should handle the full resolution of 2560, but the resolution is only 1280x800. Detect Displays does not do any thing.



Ooops. Resolved. I need an adapter.
