They have a bad reputation as a sleazy channel, and they will do anything for ratings, haha.

Futurama isn't dead (yet), it's merely resting.

What a sad display of what americans watch. I flipped to it between a few commercials of the olympics just to see what kind of contests they were having.

Butter eating, mayonaise eating, and hotdog.

that little Japanese hotdog guy was pretty impressive I must say. He couldn't way more than 90 pounds yet ate 37 hotdogs

If people would actualy watch Futurama instead of downloading the episodes (this is what all my friends do, they also do it to Family Guy) then it would still be alive and kicken.

Family Guy is a lot better than Futurama.

Family Guy WAS a lot better than Futurama, but the current season seriously sux, its like the cheap humor of Futurama without all the snide cracks on society.

And as for the eating show... "rather" obeise?

I dont think that I can actually phraze this any better than fox so...

    THE CHAMBER.

A year or two ago I saw a p0romo for a FOX special which as near as I can tell was end-to-end police car chases. The repulsive thing is the ad featured a fleeing car getting the sh!t smacked out of it by a semi as it was crossing an intersection - the occupants were almost certainly killed and FOX was selling it as exiting entertainment.

I got back from stuffing myself at CiCi's and my roomates were watching that godaweful show. That is the closest that TV has ever come to making me vomit. Dipping the hotdog buns in the water before stuffing them down their throats..... *heave* Between that and stuffing down eight pounds of mayo I'ld say that Fox has completely outdone themselves as far as pushing, no, completely obliterating the boundries of taste.

    Pun intended? heh

I watched some of that and it was sick... but it was like watching a real bad car accident in slow motion... Nasty.

Lucky me, I missed all of those shows.

Well, I did watch one, ok, two rounds of The Chamber. The controversy they generated sucked me in. <img src="graemlins/embarrassed.gif" border="0" alt="[Embarrassed]" />
