Dock Connector Camera

I was just wondering why no one has come up with a Dock Connector Camera for the ipod touch or even older iPhones for that matter. It could have a greater Mp say like 5, and record a at faster rate like 60 fps. Could the dock connector even handle it, or is apple simply not allowing it? I would certainly buy one if it was available.
