Alphanumeric password protection

I wonder if the iPad will have this. One thing I always thought was joke on the iPhone/iPod touch was the lousy 4-digit passcode to unlock the device. If people are supposed to consider the iPad for enterprise use, they'll need security to protect their confidential files that can't be defeated by two or three days of brute force passcode entry. There's a hack to get alphanumeric passwords on the iPhone, but people shouldn't have to re-hack their devices every time they have to do a restore.

    I'd go further to say it needs full device encryption with alphanumeric passwords. There's no indication it will be implemented though.
