Can't import songs into iTunes

Hey guys, I really need some help.



I just downloaded a free album from a bands website, but I can't ge thte files to import into iTunes. The files are MPEG Layer 3 Audio (.mp3) so they should work but that will not import. I tried clicking the import to library, then the import folder. I even tried to copy and paste them into iTunes, and then copyign the file into my iTunes library on my computer.



Any help?

    There is no import to library button or import folder so I'm not sure what you did?





    What you should do is put the files in a folder on the desktop, then do this (<- click to see screen-capture movie, first part shows how to check that the "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library" is checked).



    Once the files have been added you can delete the folder from the desktop.
