Does anyone know why copying borders from one cell to another in Numbers doesn't work?

It's pretty inefficient creating borders for each cell all over the place.

OK, just so you feel loved even though it is a shiite answer:

    Because it doesn't.

I can think of reasons it might be designed this way and I can think of reasons it should be designed as XLs is. Personally I find not copying/cutting borders to be less frustrating, YMobviouslyV.

I haven't looked at numbers yet, but does copying formatting work for the borders?
