quicktime does not see isight camera

using qt pro 7.6.6 . perfs set to auto then tried to isight but quicktime does not see camera when creating new movie recording . imovie and photobooth can see the camera . it seems it happens after flash takes control of the camera. yes i close the flash app before opening qt.

interesting that i will work (for a while ) after running applejack disc utility.



any ideas

thanks in advance - oh yea i am running a couple year old macbook

    Here's an idea: try applying capitals, proper interpunction, spacing and syntax. It communicates better.



    And you might try repairing permissions.

    i tried making a quick time movie with capitals but .. this and proper inerpunction, spacing and syntax did not change the situation. it still does not see the camera. i guess quick time is does not care about grammar. but thanks, it was worth a try.

    also you spelled rocket wrong...... but i thought this was a tech forum .
