New Macbook and Old G5 imac as monitor? Help! :-)
Hey, I just got a new 13" macbook pro and I have an old 20" G5 imac running OSX 10.4.11 at home.
I plan to use the new macbook to create flash animation, edit movies on imovie etc. AND would like to use my Old imac G5 as an external monitor.
Is it possible to hook the two up, using the new macbook as the creator of the content, but the G5's 20" screen as the monitor I work on for the bigger work space?
If so, how would I connect the two to make this possible? What would I need? Is OSX 10.4.11 on the imac ok?(Cause apple doesn't sell 10.5 anymore).
I'm looking for a specific answer and instructions on what I need to make sch a connection work. If it even can.
