I unpause it and it goes back to pause. the 2 documents in the printer queue say deleted on the far left but they won't come out of the queue. I uninstalled the hp photosmart C4700 software in reinstalled it and the same 2 documents are still in the printer queue... can anyone help me?

save the files, reboot the machines, clear the queue and start over.

I did that and I also un-intalled the printer and those 2 print jobs are still in the queue as deleted. then when I try to print anything the printer pauses. when I try deleating the 2 jobs in the queue it asks are you sure you want to delete jobs are currently printing, so i say yes and the jobs still show in the queue???

    Then note the following...

To reset the printing system (if necessary)

Control-click or right-click a print queue in the "Printers" pane.

Choose "Reset printing system..." from the contextual menu.

Click "OK" in the "Are you sure..." confirmation sheet.

Thanks for your help, that removed both deleted docs in print queue.
