Propulsion systems 50 years ahead...

What will be the primary mode of propulsion 50 years from now in areas of launch to orbit and interplanetary travel? It is assumed in 50 years there will be regular journeys to the Moon, Mars or the asteroids.



This thread does not concern interstellar travel.
