connecting to a time capsule's HD from windows XP

I just bought my first mac (iMac 27") and a time capsule 1TB. I've set up the mac and time capsule. I am using the time capsule as my wireless router and want to share its HD with my windows computers also the attached USB printer.
I installed the AirPort utility (the cd that came with the TC) on my windows xp laptop (wireless in the network) and on my windows xp desktop (ethernet connection to TC). All computers connect to the network on wireless and hard wired and can access the internet. My laptop prompts me with something like a TC is available do you want to connect and I do with the user account I created for it when I set up the TC and it can access the TC's HD. Every time I try on the desktop PC it tells me the login is incorrect or login is disabled!? But I am using the correct account information that i created for the PC and my laptop can login so it cant be disabled!
I have also tried connecting as guest and still get the same problem.
