iOS4 alarm clock security bug

If you have a pass code set, when the Alarm Clock sounds and you slide the "Slide to stop alarm" slider it unlocks the phone without requiring or requesting the pass code, giving you full access to the phone. This bug was introduced with iOS4, it didn't exist in iPhone SDK 3.x.x.

Anyone else confirm this bug? On my 3G it's 100% repeatable.

I have reported the bug to Apple via bugreport.apple.com.

I can't reproduce this on the iPhone 4 so perhaps it's just related to the iOS 4 build on the 3G.

My bad. The upgrade to iOS4 disabled my passcode, so I didn't in fact have any passcode set.
