album art and stars

i was able to put import my whole music collection into my laptop for travelling but none of the album arts followed (well a handful did) and none of the star ratings followed either



is this info stored in a different location other than my itunes library?



and is it possible to take the album artwork from the itunes place and integrate it directly into the id3 tags of the mp3? it would make life much easier
