As simple as this; the iMac is G4. When do YOU think we will honestly see the G4 in the iBook? Any chance we will get it at NY? Or will we wait for a special iBook event (Like when the dual USB was intro.)? Or all the way 'till next year (When Mot. rolls out some spicy G5s)?

When there's G4s significantly faster for the TiBook's to make them worth getting over the iBook.

I dont even know if that is needed... Apple could just make the iBooks hobbled arund the Apollo chip IE 100MHz VS 133 or DDR and L3 Cache (or lack thereof...)
Thats it. But if you look at the iMac/Powermac now (Granted we are over due for an update) And esp. now w/ the 14" ibook. I think Ti book needs 700+ G4 same prices and 500-600 G4s for ibook. But I repeat again, When do you think we will see this (A date, a hour AND the Second) No but do you think we could see this by NY?

I hope it comes around that time, but I dont see it happening... It would be nice to have a G4 iBook to take to college...

Truely, I see an iBook G4 coming out in the Fall time at an Apple Media Event; if not then, we will see it at MWSF 03.
