BGR-iPhone 4 bursts into flames, burns hand





Hopefully just a one-off, but this won't play well in the media.

    It doesn't seem probable that this was done in any sort of normal manner. The burn isn't just at the iPhone. You can see it progressing all the way up the wire for the connector where it has melted the insulation. Someone was screwing with something here in the wrong fashion.

    First I've heard of this. Happens occasionally, it's a manufacturing defect and something in the connector shorted out I bet.
