Time Capsule + eSATA RAID array

A buddy of mine modded his Time Capsule to attach it to an eSATA RAID array, and he thoroughly documented the project (which I have hosted on my site). I thought that perhaps it might be of interest to some here.

    While the concept is neat, the bottleneck with Time capsule is mainly within the Mac doing the backup. I use an external FW800 disk, which transfers 75MB/sec or so, but the Time Machine backups are still in the KB/sec range.
