ACMT at Apple Store

I'll be ACMT in a few weeks, I'm already an experienced computer technician (PC), I'd like to know if Applestore hire technician who only work in the repair room cause I don't want to work at the genius bar.
Do they hire ACTC, cause I'll maybe go for that too ?
