Macbook Pro i5 cant reinstall mac os x please help me!

hi.

I got macbook pro i5 2.4.

I try reinstall mac os x but cant do it. When I insert cd all working fine til mac need restart, after restart its freeze whit apple sign and stays forever. the same happened when I try use pendrive memory. I try press C when macbook starts but no change. I'm usuing genuine snow leopard 10.6.3 retail copy because I lost the dvd's what came whit macbook.

Please help me if anyone can. I try everything what I know reset pram,smc, repair permissions,

I try install windows 7 using boot camp and it works fine.

    The Mac OS X build number on the Snow Leopard 10.6.3 disc is not the same as the one on the MacBook Pro restore discs.



    If Mac OS X were currently available in a hard-copy newer than 10.6.3, this wouldn't be an issue. But this close to the original build version of the notebook, it's feasible that the retail disc's version is actually older than the restore disc.



    My advice would be to contact AppleCare and request a new set of the original discs, they should contain the proper build.
