FaceTime currently doesn't work over bluetooth. Not sure when Apple will add support for it.

No. And no, it won't ever.
1. Bluetooth isn't fast enough for such data transfers.
2. Bluetooth works over a distance of 30 feet. You can't possibly be lazy enough to use FaceTime instead of WALKING over to the person to talk.
