True enough, but this time it looks like it might actually get made. I think a major problem is going to be finding child actors who don't suck.

Maaaan, that's terrible news. I mean, I loved the book, but glurx is quite right. Child actors are terrible.

    Episode 1's Anakin Skywalker? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

There are plenty of good child actors, take ET for instance. Its all about the directors ability to work with children.

    A forgettable Sci Fi book....

unfortunately, it really is better than most... but that says more about the state of sci fi.....

    V. Vinge books might make good movies......

i dont agree. enders game is incredible if u take it from the right perspective. if u are a young male who can relate to this type of figure, then the book is incredibly inspiring and at the same time entertaining. hell, my sci fi prof in college loves this book...

and the rest of the series was great too--although its not done yet...

Maybe I don't "get" Enders Game but it didn't leave much of an impression on me.
