Looking for Gigabit Network Friendly HDD set to stream media

I have a gigabit router. I also have a Mac Pro and a Mac Mini Wired to the router.

I use the mac Mini to play my media via PLEX. the media is stored on my Mac Pro. I have to get rid of my Mac Pro, but was looking for something that would basically be a hard drive only station.. I think I found something in the 2TB range:

My concern is, seagate doesn't say what format the drive has to be. I was hoping to keep it mac formatted and NOT fat32 (i have MKV movies that are 10+gb in size)...

Is this the best bang for the buck or does anyone know of a better deal?
