Apple TV slow at syncing Movie playlists when streaming
Hi,
I'm running a MacMini 2Ghz Intel Core duo with 2 Gig of Ram.
I have two AppleTV's - both set to streaming. One is wireless the other connected via TCP/IP - I'm running 10/100/1000 switch.
I have a Drobo Pro (raid system) connected via iSCSI.
I have approx. 500 movies as I have slowly copied over from my DVD collection - approx. 500GB.
I have no problem viewing any movies or otherwise...
So far so good... HOWEVER... syncing the movies is another story... when I add an additional movie to my Movies on my iTunes on the Macmini, then look at the AppleTV - either one - to sync the new movie play list can take approx. 2-5 min.
Can I speed this up? Anybody know if this problem still exists with the new AppleTV?
