Advice: Which iMac processor to get?
The main thing I am debating over is to go with the 3.6ghz i5 or the 2.8ghz quad-core i5.
The 27" with the 3.6 is $1899 and then the 2.8 quad is $1999 so essentially the same price.
I dont do a whole lot of processor intensive activities, mostly mail, safari, iweb on occassion, iphoto, word, excel. I do tend to have about 3-4 programs running at a time.
Right now i have a "3.06 duo core 2" macbook pro and it does the job. But I dont really know what will be faster for my purposes, the faster dual core or the slightly slower quad core?
Suggestions?
