I´ve heard that there´s a director´s cut of this film which is supposedly very different from what is being sold in the shops.

Has anyone ever seen it?

How is it different? How can it be anyway? Wouldn´t you need the actors do do the scenes that are being left out in the final cut?

Haven't seen the director's cut...but would like to...very powerful film.

Also, many movies are filmed with footage the director would like to have in the film but can't get it through the censors. So they are cut out and then re-released on the video or DVD. It's either an enhancement or a disaster (See Natural Born Killers, Director's cut...or Apocalypse Now Redux...).

I have never seen any special versions of American History X which is a suprise because i'm always at <a href="http://www.davisdvd.com"; target="_blank">www.davisdvd.com</a> and <a href="http://www.dvdtalk.com"; target="_blank">www.dvdtalk.com</a> but I'd welcome any extras myself.
