Hello I'm new to apple insider so please excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong forum.

My problem is I accidentally knocked over a glass of water and some water landed on my Mac OS X I cleaned it up right away and let it dry. This all happened on November 2nd and trying it out today on November 3rd everything seems to be running fine except for the fact that at the top right bar where the battery is shown shows the battery looking like this ( X (o. When I click on the battery it says that the battery is not available. I checked the battery but it seems to be working fine. Does anyone have a clue as to what is wrong?

Try putting a different battery in it and see if you get the same result. If not it's the battery, if so, it's either a bad logic board or battery connector.

That would depend on what model MacBook it is (assuming it's a MacBook)! Some MacBook model's batteries are not supposed to be accessed, let alone switched by the user. It voids the warranty if you do.

What model have you got, dondocto? And when was it new?
