Will ipod/iphone accessories work with ipad?

I was wondering if ipod touch and iphone accessories work with the new ipad.



Things like 3.5mm headsets, usb wall and car chargers, microphones, etc. Basically everything that plugs into your ipod and iphone.

    Given that they're all standards, I can't imagine why not.



    Oh, chargers from around the time of the first iPhone had FireWire pins in them (for charging or otherwise) still. Supposedly those cables work to charge the 1st gen iPhone but nothing since. Be careful.

    There is of course no guarantee that future iPhone and iPod accessories will also work with (future) iPads.
