I hardly notice the difference between 720 and 1080 on a 46" screen.
If you have a 60" screen, it might be a huge limitation.
How much of the CONTENT available on the Roku is actually 1080? (I have no idea.) If you're only getting upscaled 720p (or even 480p) content, I doubt the 1080p output is really that much of an advantage.
If 720 v 1080 is the only thing that bothers you, I'd think it would be dependent on your screen size and personal visual acuity.
