How to instal ios4.2 with itunes 9.2.1 ?

Hello,



I'm still under OS X 10.4.11 and the last version of iTunes available for this OS is 9.1.2.



So I cannot download ios 4.2 from iTunes, I get an error message saying: this version 9.1.2 is the latest.



Since my iphone is not jailbroken, is it possible to install 4.2 bypassing this error message and keeping 10.4.11 and itunes 9.1.2 ?

    You can't sync 4.2 without iTunes 10. Even if you could install it, you'd never be able to sync your iDevice with your computer again.
