Epic To Release Unreal Development Kit To iOS Devs For Free

    What I'm hoping it means is that developers who already make good Unreal games port the full games over instead of extremely watered down versions.



    They could port the full Deus Ex, Clive Barker's Undying, the Harry Potter games, Unreal Tournament, Bioshock, Thief, Spiderman 2, Splinter Cell games (remade so Fisher moves faster though), XIII, Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect (parts of it anyway, not the full game), Mirror's Edge,



    probably not Duke Nukem Forever but it can come at a later date.



    If they had even a handful of those titles in full, the platform would get so much more respect for gaming. Those games take up 5-10GB of space when installed on the PC but if they aimed for 1-2GB install size for iOS by scaling down the textures and maybe dividing some game into episodes, that would work out pretty well.
