He directed <a href="http://us.imdb.com/Name?Frankenheimer,+John"; target="_blank">many fine movies</a>. I just watched Ronin again a few days ago.

    Yes indeed, a big loss. He's the kind of director that most people won't recognize by his name but has seen at least one of his movies.
