Man, what a nitwit! Do you know the trouble and grief you incur by making just ONE false 911 call, even if it's an accident?

Years ago, my ex's little brother (he was about 6 or 7 at the time) did just this. Just goofing around, not knowing any better. He called it, then hung up, thinking he was being cute.

Six minutes later, two squad cars show up and police are knocking on the door.

Now, multiply THAT times 1,100!

This guy's ass is grass!

Man, and I think I get bored sometimes. I've never been THAT out of things to do...

My Dad accidently called the local police department a few times. The number he tried to call was 9227112 which would have been my grandparents.

But the '2' and '7' on the phone stopped working and he didn't realize it. So he'd dial the number and it would dial '911'.

They called back demanding to know the problem, and he, having realized the phone was broken but not that he had accidently dialed 911, explained that the phone was broken, and was told to throw the phone away.

But this guy is lucky no one had a real emergency that wasn't dealt with. How could you live with yourself if someone died as a result of your pranks?

If it can be proved that he had a hand in someone's death or the seriousness of an injury (say a burn victim) because EMS couldn't get to them quickly enough, he ought to serve prison time as if he caused the death / injury. Negligent homicide I think it's called - a step beyond manslaughter, a step below murder (if I understand the laws correctly).

    What a sack of sh*t.
