Today at work suddenly it started raining like it had never rained before. When I looked out the window I couldn´t see the others side of the road for rain and I had taken the bike to work. But then suddenly ten minutes before I could leave it stopped. I got home and then it started raining again. So I made myself a cup of cocoa and sat watching it pouring down. I really love to look at rain when I don´t have to go out into it.

Whats your positive story of the day?

Today I was taken to a very nice five star hotel for a business lunch. I had a very nice meal, a superb bottle of wine and had a walk in the gardens. The sunny was shining and I made some very important contacts.

Today my incredible girlfriend took me down to the music hall she practices at, and performed a song she wrote for me.

    Unbelievable.

Yesterday I reinstalled 1.1 on my dying iPod, charged it overnight and got about six hours out of it after a couple of weeks of 30 minutes tops. I've resurrected it. I don't know why. Cool though.

I took my three-year-old daughter to her first swim lesson today, and she loved it.

She put her head under water and when she came up, she was coughing a little and rubbing her eyes; but now she can't stop talking about how she went under water and can't wait to go again tomorrow.

This morning, late, I kissed my wife after she took a nap on the couch. She is pregnant with our first child to be... a girl that, according to all the tests, is healthy

Today I got through another day at work with out quitting. And when I got home, my wife was painting the kitchen so I'll have one less thing to do next week while I'm on vacation.

Today I finally finished beefing up the circuitry in my 7500's power supply. Now it can hold all of the surplus that had been sitting on my shelf internally.

I also made a 4 mile run in 25 minutes. Not great, but I'm getting back into my old form, which is good.

    Simple pleasures.

Today I did some Flash work for a record company's website. Then I washed my car (the $6 wash not the $5 wash) and hung out at the driving range for an hour+. Ya ever noticed how all the girls that work at the golf courses are hot? Especially the beer/cart girl. It must be a requirement or something. Then I drove by my high school to see if they were done with all the construction (nope not yet). Then I grabbed some Taco Bell at possibly the only Taco Bell in the area without a drive thru. Oh ya, then I went to work. It was a good day. Then I came home and swam some laps and worked some more on the website. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Today, I made it through my 1 hr 15 min commute to work through some of the most traffic-congested highways in Massachusettes without screaming, yelling, honking, flicking someone off, or otherwise getting pissed off at someone not paying attention to what they're doing on the road.
