That's too bad. Depression sucks. It's so ravaging that it's really unbelievable some times. I'm working as a medical psych intern doing consults on the Dook Inpatient Unit this year and it's amazing how incredibly debilitating it can be. Sad, indeed.
Depression does suck, I am a long-time sufferer of depression and sucidal thoughts. I tried to take my own life a few times, and I am glad that I failed.
Some of you may be interested in a book by Kay Redfield Jameson, entitled Night Falls Fast. It talks about suicide and depression, and looks through a handful of stories. It really helped me better understand the whole thing. I was there once when I was about 13... for a while. Reading this book was... productive I suppose.

I just wish that the antidepression meds companies would test their own antidepressants, the side effects are hard to deal with sometimes. http://www.nytimes.com/2002/07/03/opinion/03DOWD.html
You'll be amazed, and disgusted: how many innocent lives is a reputation worth, Pfizer?
At any rate, it's well worth a read.
