Who knows? Everything to Snow Leopard was $129, and Snow Leopard, being only a streamlining, was $29.
Lion will probably be $129 again.
$29 is the just announced cost of Lion.
Nowhere on Apple.com does it say this. There's no way Apple would announce the cost before showing us anything about it.
