I'm not sure I buy this analysis. It seems like the ultimate bullish case for AAPL, the target year is practically in another century, and it places too much reliance on Apple dominating on-demand video. Offered for entertainment and/or discussion value.

We have to not forget the fact that apple TODAY is almost the largest company on the planet in terms of stock value. There is simply a limit to how much more the stock can be worth. I personally think we will see modest growth to around 3-400 $. After this there will possibly be the next new thing comming up. And also the next decade will see a complete reshuffle of inovation and economic power globally. In 2040-50 only countries as brazil, iran, turkey, mexico and african nations will have enough young people to invent and create! The entire western society as well as india and china will consist of old people by then. Also let us not forget that steve jobs has a pancreatic cancer (as unfortunate and sad it is) and he will probably retire before then.

AAPL has been through an incredible explosive growth. Time to move on to the next thing. (Green-tech anyone?) Think for example Tesla Motors.

If it matters, the AAPL $1000 case requires an appreciation of around 12% per year, and implicitly assumes that earnings can continue to grow at that rate.
