For the love of God, is there any way to make Spotlight default to "File Name" instead of "Contents"!!!? I hate having to change it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Oh, come on, guys, doesn't anybody know a terminal hack or something that can get this done?
There's no way to make the spotlight menu change but you can go straight to Find By Name using shift-command-f instead of command-f. You can also use the keyboard panel to remap these menu items so that command-f goes straight to name search and not content search.

That helps, thanks, Marvin!
