Online Communities
We have a Local BBS turned Online Community Fourm at http://www.affinitybbs.com/ it used to be local to St. Louis, MO, and others via long distance, but now it is an online forum. Gives people a chance to plan events and meet if they are in the same local area.
Another Online Community is at http://z.iwethey.org/forums/ a bunch of Infoworld Regulars that got tired of the Infoworld Forum software so they wrote their own based on Zope.
Then there is this one. Somehow Appleinsider.com got turned into a Forum. It expands so that it covers more than just Mac News. I invite you to join the others if you feel like it. They do have a Mac section as well as a PC section, plus tons of other sections.

No reason to change, that was not my message. I just wanted people to look at other Online Communities that I participate in.
