Spec Whores Rejoice: the 2012 iPad will rock your world
TI has revealed that they are going to release Cortex a 15 cpus for smartphones, and presumably tablets, later this year for devices in 2012.
I doubt Apple will be far behind with an a15 cpu for the iPad at least and perhaps the iPhone.
They capabilities look fantastic on paper. 3x faster than a9s which haven't even started shipping yet. The thing that really caught my attention though was the capability to run multiple OSs and drive multiple monitors. *On an effin phone people*. That's pretty incredible IMO.
Looks like my upgrade path will be: new iPhone in 2011, new iPad in 2012.
