Bootcamp: Windows 7 install: Black Screen
So I just received a brand new Imac 21.5" at work.
The first thing I wanted to do was partition up the HD and set up my Windows Bootcamp.
I got bootcamp assistant ran no problem. I then installed windows 7 professional 32 bit, and it did the usual restarts associated with windows 7 install.
After it finished the last part of the installation it does a restart, and then the windows 7 logo comes together, and after that is supposed to be the login page. Instead the screen just stays black, and the only way to get rid of it is to hold the power to shut it down.
I looked on apple's website and they have this solution
I tried that to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem?
