IPAD: How to manage and deploy apps in entreprise ?

I am gathering information about the possibility of using iPad?s in the banking sector. I want to know if there is a way to develop and deploy apps without using Apple app store. What we need is a private App store that would be only accessible by the enterprise iPad?s. We also need an App store that would be managed by the IT department without any Apple intervention.



The banking system has extremely sensitive programs that can?t be made available or even seen by anyone outside the company.

Also, your organization could possibly use an Enterprise Developer Account with Apple. This allows all kinds of creative deployment options. There is another thread on the board here that covers some of that discussion.
