Red Sox ticket prices go up again
Oh man. I love going to Fenway Park, but this is getting ridiculous. It was already at the point that I had to wait to get cheap tickets through school or otherwise, but now I'm not sure if I'm even going to go at all. <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />
Last year, I saw Derek Lowe's no hitter, and it was unbelievable. It was a discount game since they were playing Tampa Bay, so I was able to get good seats for decent prices.
I also went to a Yankees - Red Sox game where I paid a little more, but it was worth it to just be there.
But now I'm looking at going once a year, maybe. With food/drink prices being so high too, it's almost the cost of a small vacation to take a few other people to the ball game.
I know Fenway Park is the worst in terms of prices. Being a small stadium that covers a huge market doesn't help.

Lower box season tickets are $28 per game...
I think they need to build Fenway II...the tickets are expensive because Fenway can only seat 33,000 people.

Last I heard, things are stalled. The latest plan called for Fenway to be rebuilt right where it is. I like that idea but it'll be awfully expensive. There's also a proposal to put seating on top of the Green Monster - another good idea.
