i'm a rippaholic
my local video rental store thinks i watch 5 dvd's in one night. usually i pick up the dvd's around 11pm on the way home... then return them next morning when they open at noon. never had to pay late fee i usually do this once a week. 5 dvd's at a time... guess it's kinda like binge'in.
so, last week, i stopped!
boredom... withdraw... depression... more withdraw
yesterday... i went to my "dealer" (um, the local dvd rental place)... and it all good, i'm back to my bubblie self
anyway, seems like i rambled on long enough... here's a question.
what is the % of the COMMERCIAL dvd's that you rip cost more than $4? i.e. non-rental. I guess what i'm getting at is that, are we all ripping dvd's for the purpose of backing up what we paid 15-25 dollars for? or do you just rip it compress it b/c you can?

In answer to your question-rippers rip because they're cheap. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)
